On Saturday, thanks to Groupon, we headed to Bowling Green KY, to visit the Lost River Cave. If you live anywhere near Kentucky, or are passing through and have 45 minutes to spare, I highly recommend the boat tour.

It was by far one of the most amazing things I have done locally. I could even handle the obnoxious tour guide because it was so beautiful and the history behind it was remarkable.

Caleb also spotted a white squirrel, apparently there are only about  30 of them in all of Bowling Green.

Today, we continued our Sunday Brunch Tour stopping at the Loveless Cafe. It’s a pretty big deal around these here parts. It’s been around for over 50 years and was once a motel for travelers passing through Tennessee. It was my first time there and was totally worth the hour and a half wait! They’re known for their biscuits, however they have the most delicious grits I have ever tasted.

After that, we decided to take the long way home, taking the Natchez Trace Parkway, and discovering Leipers Fork along the way.
