Sarah from Dilettante Homemade was my inspiration for card making, like I said before I vowed to never take up the hobby but then I learned you could sew on paper.

With two very special birthday’s coming up, my head was full of idea’s.

I copied Sarah’s idea for the first, using strips of ribbon to represent how old the birthday boy or girl is turning.

The next just came to me, I used to ends of thick ribbon for the “triangles” and then added a strip to make a banner. I think it turned out pretty adorable.

P.S. Thanks Em for allowing me to use your typewriter.

I’m now vowing to make every card.
