Craft Hope has recently announced their 7th project! This time they are working with the Liberia Orphan Education Project, the LOEP is a small non-profit and is run by a small group of people who just felt compelled to help the orphans in Liberia. They are partnered with two orphanages in Liberia to help with educational needs for the children that live there. You can help by sponsoring a teacher, school supplies for students, and classroom supplies. They also send over rice, beans, formula, and medical needs.

Craft Hope is asking for people to make alphabet, number, shape, or color bean bags. They are hoping to get 20 sets of each and as of last week they already had 140 people signed up.

If your interested in making a set or two or three or ten, click on the Craft Hope link. They have certain rules that must be followed when making your set, like must be a full set, no rice or beans for stuffing, and if you’re doing a number set the bean bags must all be the same color.

Anyways, I’m so excited that this is something I can do, it seems like something small but you could help an orphan learn to their letters or learn to count. You actually can make a difference.
